Ghanaians have reacted to a viral video that features former president, Nana Akufo-Addo, where the politician was crying buckets of tears.
Being someone who composed two political songs for him which helped him win and become the first gentleman of Ghana between 2016 and 2024, President Akufo-Addo took time off his busy schedule to mourn the late Daddy Lumba.
In a viral video that spread across social media platforms, the former president and his entourage visited the East Legon mansion of the late high-profile musician.
In the video that has generated a lot of conversation online, one could see the former president crying buckets of tears and wiping them simultaneously.
The video has since become a topic of online discussion as many Ghanaians have reacted massively to it.
Many Ghanaians via comment sections of the posts expressed shock seeing the former president who many believe is a “hard guy” crying for the first time.
Many also lambasted the bloggers and media personalities who took the video and pictures of the former president while he was in a state of melancholy and needed some privacy, not only as a former president but as an aged person.

Meanwhile, let us look at some of the comments, both negative and positive;
Osayo Tetteh as identified on Facebook expressed shock seeing the former president shed tears. Labeling Nana Akufo-Addo satan, the social media user wrote “First time seeing data crying”.
Another social media wrote linked the former president to Nebuchadnezzar as he wrote “King Nebuchadnezzar”.
John Gameli Galley on his part commented that “Killa Ntua” which translates to the boss doesn’t pay.
Trapp Chaser mocked the looks of the former president, writing “See mumu ein face”.
Consoling the former president, Ma Ma Tilly said “Oh Nana Gyae Su ai”.
Doctor Kwame Bony- Ansh Yesu Ba angrily fired a shot at the blogger who made the post, questioning that “This blogger and nkwasia caption. Bucket of tears se sen?”
