Sammy Gyamfi Sues Afia Schwar For Defamation Of Character

The brouhaha between Afia Schwar and Sammy Gyamfi has escalated to an extremely worrisome level where Afia Schwar sees everything Sammy Gyamfi does as mumbo jumbo, and the NDC bigwig on the other hand has also slapped sense into her.

A few days ago, the controversial Taxi driver made some wild allegations about the acting Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) that he has been using the state’s money for his gluttony.

The once-upon-a-time media personality went on to add that, Sammy Gyamfi has been buying cars for some Legon ladies he has amorous relationships.

“Tell Sammy Gyamfi’s wife that I am greeting her. Her husband continues to buy cars for some girls at Legon. I have the list with me, and to prove to you I am not kidding, I am going to call my informant”, Afia Schwar said.

In his response, Sammy Gyamfi took legal action against Afia Schwar for tarnishing his hard-earned reputation with false allegations.

A post shared by Gh One TV across their social reads “Goldbod CEO, Sammy Gyamfi sues Afia Schwar for defamation of character”.

In response to the lawsuit, Afia Schwar has said that before Sammy Gyamfi would want to take legal action against someone for defamation of character, he should first know that he isn’t a saint.

According to Afia Schwar, if there is anyone to be dragged to court for defamation of character, it is Sammy Gyamfi and not her.

Afia Schwar recounted how Sammy Gyamfi, during the time NDC was in opposition lied against the former vice president, Dr. Bawumia.

According to Afia, even though Hubtle does not belong to Dr. Bawumia, neither the former vice president nor any NPP bigwigs took legal action against Sammy Gyamfi.

Afia stated emphatically that she is not afraid of Sammy Gyamfi’s lawsuit, stating that just like Kevin Taylor, the supreme court wouldn’t do anything to her.
