Amasaman High Court Denies Nana Agradaa Bail

The Amasaman High Court has denied Ghanaian fetish priestess turned woman of God, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, known popularly as Nana Agradaa today, July 15, 2025.

The controversial woman of God was made to appear before the Amasaman High Court after her lawyers lead by Dr. Bernard Kofi Asamoah filed a notice of appeal stating that the trial was unfair and the judgement unjust.

After putting several factors into consideration, Nana Agradaa suffered another legal blow as the Amasaman High Court swept her appeal under the carpet and asked her to continue serving her 15-year jail term.

Speaking to the media soon after the court’s decision, Nana Agradaa’s lawyer insisted that the trial was unfair and the judgment was unjust.

He said, “The appeal has a strong chance of success due to the flaws that characterised the trial and that bias exhibited by the trial judge”.

The lawyer went on to add that “We wanted bail pending appeal, and the court did not grant it. The court has given an order that the Circuit Court furnish the court with all the processes needed for the appeal. We will continue the appeal process”.
