Nigerian actress who doubles as a film director and producer, Mercy Johnson Okojie has joined her colleague, Bimbo Ademoye to express anger at Ghanaian television stations that show their movies without their consent.
The beautiful actress released a new movie dubbed “The First Born” which is currently uploaded on her youtube channel.
As Mercy Johnson continues to wait for many people to watch the movie on her official YouTube page so that she can get back the money she invested and perhaps some profits, one of her fans alerted her that a Ghanaian television station is showing her movie simultaneously.

The fan, who labels the beautiful actress as the mother told the actress to slap some sense into the owner of the television station, saying that it is very bad for one to invest thousands of Cedis into a movie only for a Television station to take and show it for free.
The fan posted evidence of Mercy Johnson’s movie being shown on a Ghanaian television and wrote “Mami you and MJ’s hard work is been shown for free ooo My Ghanaian people don’t wanna learn. Your new movie is showing on Blazing TV. Please do something. It is bad”.
In her response, Mercy Johnson said that she knew nothing about that, revealing that the movie was shown on the Television station without her knowledge.
She went on to state emphatically that the action by the Television station is senseless.
The actress took to her official social media pages to write “Ghana. Blazing TV. How is this even ok? Blazing TV in Ghana is showing my movie, THE FIRSTBORN, on their TV without my consent. How does this even make sense? How?”
In another post, the actress posted a screenshot of the fan’s post and her earlier comment and captioned it “I am speechless at the audacity of it all”.
Meanwhile, the owner of Television Station, Blazing TV is yet to respond to Mercy Johnson.
