The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram and the Minister for Communications and Innovation, Honourable Sam Nartey George, served as the best man at his brother’s wedding held on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Videos from the wedding were shared on social media, showing the Minister showing off his moves on the dance floor, sparking a wide array of reactions.

According to reports, Sam George’s junior brother tied the knot today and held a wedding reception in Tema, with multiple videos of the event being shared on social media.

The videos showed the Ningo Prampram legislator entering the reception hall, dressed in a sharp suit and accompanied by a beautiful bridesmaid.

As is customary, the groomsman and his accompanying bridesmaid enter the hall with music and dance, and George and his counterpart did not disappoint.

They showed off their entertaining dance moves to cheers and acclaim from those in attendance.

Another video showed the combative MP, his brother, and other groomsmen.

The MP was accompanied to the event by his lovely wife, Mrs. Vera George, who he famously claimed ‘takes care of him’ when asked about his source of income during his vetting.

George’s dancing and other moves sparked interesting reactions on social media.

One user, @DarkoSamuel15 said: “Hon. Sam George went from passing bills to passing rings — Bestman mode on! And his junior brother? Bro showed up looking like he ate the wedding cake before the vows. Love heavy, groom heavier!”

Another user, @Dawson_Blaud commented on his brother: “Ei chale Ghana ein monies wey dey show for the brother ein body like that? Woooow,”

Sam George has been in the news recently after sending a stern warning to the Elon Musk-owned internet service provider Starlink, calling on them to set up an office in Ghana if they want to continue providing their service here.

“I’ve asked the regulator to inform the company that they need to open an office in Accra. I don’t understand,” George told TV3 in an interview. “They need to have an office. You can’t operate in our country and not have a presence here,”
