NDC Supporters Should Attack Agradaa If She Attempts to Visit Sammy Gyamfi’s Office – Hopeson Adorye

Controversial Ghanaian politician, Hopeson Adorye, charged supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to visit the office of Ghana Gold Board (Goldbod) CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, and prevent polarising evangelist, Patricia Asiedu aka Nana Agradaa, from visiting the place.

According to Adorye, Agradaa should be attacked and beaten if she attempts to ever set foot near Sammy Gyamfi’s office.

Adorye passed his comments during an interview on TV XYZ in Accra.

The GoldBod CEO, Gyamfi, landed in political hot water after a video surfaced online showing him handing Agradaa, who is a former fetish priestess turned preacher, over $800 in cash following a chance encounter between the two.

The video showed Gyamfi entering his car, counting out several hundred-dollar bills and handing some over to Agradaa, who even snatched a few more bills out of his hand.

Following the video surfacing on social media, Gyamfi was heavily criticised for violating the government’s code of conduct for officials and engaging in conduct unbecoming of a public official. Some opposition figures have called for his removal from his position.

Gyamfi apologised soon after, while Agradaa has since released numerous videos addressing the controversy.

Initially, she downplayed the amount she received from Gyamfi, describing it as a pittance. In a recent video, she pledged to storm Sammy Gyamfi’s office to return the cash to him and even add more cash to prove she does not need the money.

Reacting to her claims, Adorye said Gyamfi must call Agradaa and stop her from further discussing the issue because she keeps pouring flames on the fire he is engulfed in.

He said Agradaa appeared to be intentionally prolonging the issue to remain in the trends, which is harming Sammy Gyamfi.

Adorye then called for NDC foot soldiers to protect Sammy Gyamfi’s office and prevent Agradaa from setting foot there. He added that if she insists, she should be assaulted.

“Sammy Gyamfi should call Agradaa and tell her to stop talking about him with immediate effect,” Hopeson Adorye said. “I also heard she wants to visit Sammy Gyamfi’s office and return the $800 to him. NDC boys go to the office and attack her if she comes there.”

Adorye’s call for violence horrified the host of the show, Salifu ‘Mugabe’ Maase, who called on him to moderate his rhetoric in this heated political moment.
