My Mom’s Funeral Was Classy, No One Was Slapped for Picking Money From the Floor – Nana Tonardo Fires Back at Afia Schwar

U.S.-based Ghanaian entertainer, Emil Woode, popularly known as Nana Tonardo, fired back at Afia Schwarzenegger after she recently mocked the kind of funeral he organised for his late mother.

Speaking in an interview with blogger, Felix Adomako Mensah, popularly known as Zionfelix, Tonardo pushed back at Afia Schwarzenegger’s claims, describing his mother’s funeral as classy.

Nana Tonardo lost his late mother, Beatrice Akuorkor Wood, in January. Following her funeral, which was held at the Tema Joint Church, Afia Schwarzenegger took to social media to troll her longtime nemesis.

She said Tonardo was broke and could not rent a proper venue for his mother’s final rites, but had to beg a church to allow him to use their premises for the funeral.

Schwarzenegger mockingly said Tonardo should have come to beg her, and she would have gifted him $1,000 to rent a venue.

Responding to her provocations, Tonardo said his family lacks nothing, but they made the choice to use the Joint Church. He said the ceremony ended up being classy and not as violent as Afia Schwarzenegger’s father’s funeral.

He also added that, unlike Afia’s dad’s funeral, everyone at his mom’s funeral was fed, and no one complained about not having water to drink.

“My mother’s funeral was filled with abundance of food and water. It wasn’t a funeral where someone could be slapped for picking up Ghc 10 from the floor,” Tonardo said.

He added, “Others complained that they could not get water to drink at Afia’s mom’s funeral. I’m not the one saying this, all these are available on the internet for you to check.”

Nana Tonardo replies Mzbel

During the interview with Zionfelix, Nana Tonardo also clapped back at his former friend, Mzbel, following a recent interview with Zionfelix in which she took shots at him.

Mzbel said during her interview that she broke off ties with Tonardo because he was a toxic friend. She added that she knows numerous secrets about Tonardo that could get him jailed if she revealed them.

Tonardo tagged Mzbel’s claims as ‘nonsense’ and slammed Zionfelix for stirring trouble by interviewing ‘his enemies’ to spew lies about him.
