Mama Acheampong, the secondary school teacher who doubles as the “mother” of the late Daddy Lumba has swept claims that Daddy Lumba betrayed Theresah after he became successful under the carpet.

Mama Acheampong’s comment comes following speculations that Daddy Lumba was ungrateful to Theresah despite composing a song to thank her for everything she did for him.

Many Ghanaians even concluded that Daddy Lumba’s predicaments and sudden death were a result of being ungrateful to Theresah whose shoulders he sat to see farther than his colleagues.

Instead, Mama Acheampong has said that it was Theresah who betrayed Daddy Lumba during the period he needed her the most.

Speaking with Sports Obama on Angel FM, Mama Acheampong disclosed that plans were far advanced towards Daddy Lumba leading Theresah to the altar, however, the unexpected happened.

According to the “mother” of the late great musician, Theresah’s parents coerced her into marrying one business tycoon named Mr. Pensah who was a contractor with the reasons because the man was affluent despite his old age.

Upon hearing the shocking news, Mama Acheampong noted that Daddy Lumba was badly affected and decided to rush to the studio to record diss songs for the husband of Theresah.

Mama Acheampong claims “Ohia Asem”, “Sika Asem”, “Play Boy”, and many other songs were diss songs for Theresah’s husband.

Meanwhile, Today, August 2 is slated for the vigil night of the late musician at Independence Square in Accra.

It is reported that the vigil night is organized to honor the late musician for contributing his quota to the development of the Ghana entertainment industry.

Since Daddy Lumba is from Nsuta in the Ashanti Region, it is reported that another vigil night would be organized in Kumasi on August 9, so that the people in Kumasi could also honor the great musician.
