Rockstar Kumai Eugene has officially confirmed that he has left Lynx Entertainment, adding that it was not difficult for him to leave.

Speaking on Hitz FM, the “Monica” hitmaker stated that before leaving Lynx Entertainment, he was well prepared.

The musician shared three things that made leaving Lynx Entertainment not a difficult decision for him.

“It was not so difficult, it was not difficult because i had some boxes that i needed to check before i left Lynx Entertainment. I tried as much as possible to check those boxes before i left Lynx Entertainment.

Rockstar named having a solid management team as one of the boxes he needed to check before leaving Lynx Entertainment. He stated that, before leaving his former recorded label, he ensured that he had a hardworking and persistent management team.

“And the first thing is putting together a good management team to help me do what Lynx was doing for me before i left”, the musician said.

He added that, before leaving Lynx Entertainment, he ensured that he had another big distributing company that could help promote his songs for him.

According to Rockstar, Lynx helped him so much when it came to the promotion of his songs, so, before leaving, he needed to ensure that he had a solid distributing company, just like, or better than Lynx so that his songs could still be heard even after leaving Lynx Entertainment.

“And secondly, another big distribution company to help me have these playlists i still have while leaving Lynx Entertainment”, the musician added.

The “Angela” hitmaker went on to add that before leaving Lynx Entertainment, he received the blessings from his former boss, Richie Mensah, stating that he was the first person to receive blessings from the owner of the record label.

Kuami Eugene noted that, even though leaving Lynx Entertainment was not something Richie Mensah was happy about, he still organized a send-off party for him to wish him all the best.
