I Promised Myself To Become A Star Since Childhood- 39/40

Kumawood actor and musician, 39/40 has disclosed that becoming an actor is a dream come through, and not by accident as many people say.

39/40 revealed that, growing in Kumasi, it was his dream to become a “star” however, he never knew it could happen the way it happened.

“I will say that it was a dream just like you are saying. It was something I wanted to do, but I never knew it would happen this way. Growing up, i told myself that by hook or crook i have to become a star. Growing up, that has always been my thought. As for the talent, i have numerous talents”, he said.

Speaking during an interview on Ultimate FM, 39/40 recounted how he started shooting comedy skits and how he got the pseudonym, 39/40.

He claims in one of his skits as a beginner, he was to act as a limp, and during the shoot of that skit, one of their members named Kasawale, presently an Evangelist gave him the name 39/40.

The actor noted that after the video was uploaded on YouTube, almost all the comments revolved around him and his acting skills.

With numerous people via the comment section calling him 39/40, the actor stated that he, Dr. Likee among others had a thought about it and decided to use the name 39/40.

According to the young actor and musician, the name 39/40 has helped him so much that, at the moment, he has become one of the greatest actors in Kumasi.

“I got that name from a movie shoot. At Dr. Likee’s camp, we were shooting a movie and I was to act like a limp just like you said. So, the name just came from one lady, today, she is even an Evangelist. The moment I entered the scene, she said as for this one, it is Muntala 39/40. Almost every comment was about 39/40. This was about 4 years ago”, the actor shared.
