He was Assaulted and Possibly Murdered – UEW Students Float New Theory Over Alleged S*icide

A female student of the University of Education, Winneba, claims the Level 100 student, Khon Void, who allegedly committed suicide due to being cheated on by his girlfriend, did not kill himself.

Reacting to the death that has sent shockwaves across the country, students in the know are revealing different motives for what occurred.

According to an audio recording of a female student going viral, the deceased, Khon Void, was dating a yet-to-be-identified lady, as the initial story revealed.

The student claims that Void was extorting his girlfriend with indecent photos in his possession, and to fight back, she ‘organized’ some guys to attack him.

The alleged attack proved fatal for the Level 100 Art Education student, the student claimed, adding that after he passed, the perpetrators staged a s*icide scene in the hostel.

“They claim he committed suicide but that’s not what happened. The girlfriend organised a ‘squad’ [to attack him]. He threatened her with her n*ked video so she hired some guys to attack him,” the student said in the recording, speaking the Akan language. “They killed him and hung him in the bathhouse [to seem like a suicide]”

The explosive audio contradicts the initial narrative that emerged following the death of Khon Void. He was reported to have collapsed after finding his girlfriend in bed with another man and then took his life the next day.

Currently, neither authorities or either family have addressed the incident.
