Ghanaian influencer based in Germany, Adwenpahene, has been laid to rest in Germany following his recent demise.
Adwenpahene, real name Evans Amankwaah, died Friday, April 4. His funeral and memorial services were held Thursday, April 17th, 2025.
Videos from the funeral emerged on social media, showing his family in distress over the death of their loved one. Adwenpahene was laid to rest in a beautiful coffin as distraught family members sobbed.
Adwenpahene’s wife paid tribute to his life during the ceremony, recollecting the good times they had. She praised her late husband for his dedication to his family and the zeal he had for providing for her and their kids.

Adwenpahene’s death sparked numerous reactions on social media due to his controversial nature.
The Germany-based creator was a fierce critic of multiple people, particularly former President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Adwenpahene was vocal in his criticisms and showed little respect for anyone, whether young or old. His stunts included a video of him mocking a bust of a gorilla, comparing its looks to that of Nana Akufo-Addo. He also picked fights with many other members of the online creator community, who are always at loggerheads.
His vitriolic attacks led to unsympathetic reactions from many social media users following his burial. Video of his funeral service elicited comments such as “Respect your elders and live long.”
Adwenpahene is survived by his wife, Becky, and their five children.
