The family of a MoMo vendor popularly known as Junior, has revealed how a pregnant woman who has been arrested in connection with his death colluded with robbers to attack him in his home.
Junior’s mother and uncle, speaking to the press following a recent court date, both revealed how their respective son and nephew’s home was infiltrated, leading to his murder.
According to Junior’s uncle, the popular MoMo vendor kept his house under heavy lock and key and did not allow strangers access due to the large sums of money from his MoMo business, which he operated at the Kwadaso Onion market.
Junior’s uncle claimed that on the fateful day of his murder, the accused pregnant woman knocked on Junior’s door.
When he spotted her, Junior decided to open the door, his uncle said, without knowing the woman was working with criminals to catch him off guard.

The pregnant woman, identified only as Mavis, was arrested and charged in the case. Junior’s uncle would not state what relationship, if any, she had with his nephew.
In similar comments, Junior’s mother mourned her son’s death and called for justice to be served. She narrated how the assailants mutilated her son’s body and expressed a wish to be given a chance to assault the pregnant lady who caused his death.
Junior’s mother also wondered why a young lady with a baby on the way could involve herself in such evil deeds, expressing satisfaction that she has finally been arrested to face the consequences of her actions.
