Daddy Lumba’s Wife Akosua Serwaa Reportedly Arrives In Ghana



Akosua Serwaa, the first wife of ace Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba has reportedly arrived in Ghana following the musician’s sudden demise.

The news was made known to all and sundry by Ghanaian blogger known as Bigscout Nana Yaw Prempeh of Bigscout Media via his official social media platforms.

Bigscout has said that Akosua Serwaa arrived in Ghana yesterday, July 31, 2025. In his words “Daddy Lumba’s wife Akosua Serwaa arrived in Ghana yesterday”.

Bigscout disclosed in his Facebook post that Akosua Serwaa would be going to Daddy Lumba’s house in the afternoon today, August 1, 2025, for reasons that are yet to be known.

“And will be going to Lumba’s residence this afternoon”, Bigscout said in his post that has since gone viral.

Being a blogger, Bigscout asked bloggers and other content creators to get ready because this is great content that nobody should miss for anything.

“Bloggers can get your cameras ready for content”, he concluded in his post.

In a communique released by the family which was signed by the counsel for the Fosu Family, Fati Yallah Esq, Daddy Lumba was announced dead.

The family stated in the communique that Daddy Lumba died on July 26, 2025, revealing that the aged musician battled a short illness and could not survive it.

The released communique started with “With profound sorrow and deep grief, the Fosu family announces the passing of Ghana’s beloved musical icon, Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, who passed away earlier today, July 26, 2025, after a short illness”.

The communique went on to state that “Daddy Lumba was more than a musician, he was a cultural icon whose music touched countless lives. His soulful voice provided the soundtrack to our love stories and his poignant lyrics captured the poetry of our struggles, dreams, and resilience”.

According to the family, “During this time of immense loss, we respectfully request privacy for the family and loved ones as they navigate this profound grief”.
