Controversial Afia Schwar has for the first time in numerous years become emotional following the sudden demise of ace Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba.
Speaking during a TikTok live, Afia stated that she had had several private chats with Daddy Lumba where the deceased sounded worried.
According to the self-acclaimed queen of comedy, Daddy Lumba once called her and all that she asked was “Afia I’m I that bad?”
Afia claims that even though Daddy Lumba hardly reacted to false speculations about him, he was secretly hurt and went through a lot, adding that, apart from that, the dead musician had his secret battles to fight.
He blamed Ghanaians for the sudden demise of Daddy Lumba, stating that the false rumors among others all contributed to his early grave.

“Ghanaians, you people caused the death of my uncle. He wasn’t like me. Uncle Kwadwo was not like me who would pick up a camera to address issues. But all the lies you were throwing at him, were hurting him. Sometimes, there were many false rumors that when he heard them, he had no one to run to or seek advice from. He didn’t have anyone. Sometimes he would call me and ask if he was that bad. You caused his death. I am telling you the truth”, she said.
Afia went on to say that “he was fighting his own battles yet, every stone was thrown at him as if he didn’t have battles to fight and as if he didn’t have blood. The whole world is celebrating Lumba now. But if the whole world had celebrated him instead of spewing lies about him, he might not have died. Let’s learn from Lumba’s death, and let his death tell us that every celebrity is a human being and has blood”.
According to Afia Schwar, “My Uncle was in pain. Sometimes when he called me, I couldn’t pick camera and come and say everything, but he was in pain. You caused his death. You caused his death. You caused his death. The lies caused his death. Your lies caused his death. Everything you were throwing at him was so much for him to bear”.
