Self-acclaimed surgeon and upcoming musician, Archipalago in an attempt to mourn late Daddy Lumba has made it into the trends for the wrong reasons.

Following the death of Daddy Lumba, Archipalago posted a video of himself crying and talking simultaneously.

In the video which has since taken over social media, Archipalago could be seen crying like a kid, stating that he was badly affected by the musician’s sudden death.

According to Archipalago, he woke up to hear the sad news, stating that initially he thought it was one of those cock and bull stories spread by rumor mongers.

The controversial musician gave two reasons why he stated that he was badly affected by the death of Daddy Lumba, stating that the musician was someone he looked up to, and secondly, Daddy Lumba is a Kumasi boy, hence, it is his direct brother who has bought his ticket to the land of silence.

Surprisingly enough, instead of saying that Daddy Lumba was his idol, the musician mistakenly said that the late musician was his “idle”.

The mistake Archipalago has made has led him to trend across social media platforms for the wrong reasons.

Meanwhile, in subsequent videos and posts, Archipalago subtly stated that he was not being tickled by the fact that Ghanaians were dragging him for the mistake he made.

The family of ace Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba has officially reacted to reports that the legendary musician had bought his ticket to the land of silence.

In a communique released by the family which is signed by the counsel for the Fosu Family, Fati Yallah Esq, Daddy Lumba is no longer a human being.

The family stated in the communique that Daddy Lumba died earlier today, July 26, 2025, revealing that the aged musician battled a short illness and could not survive it.

The communique starts with “With profound sorrow and deep grief, the Fosu family announces the passing of Ghana’s beloved musical icon, Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, who passed away earlier today, July 26, 2025, after a short illness”.
