Earlier today, many Ghanaians have been in a state of melancholy following reports that legendary Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba had bought his ticket to the land of silence.

Ghanaian blogger, identified as Selthebomb took to his official Snapchat to announce that reports available at his news desk were that legendary Daddy Lumba had gone to a better place.
The blogger stated in his post that even though journalists do not base on hearsay to make stories, the news despite being unconfirmed was true.
The blogger went on to state that the family had plans of making the news known to all Ghanaians as soon as possible.
Posting a picture of Daddy Lumba, Selthebomb wrote “Reports reaching me indicate that Daddy Lumba has passed on. His family is yet to confirm the news but close sources have disclosed to Selthebomb that the musician has passed on. The family is preparing to announce the sad news soon”.

He assured his staunch followers that should there be any further developments, he would update them asap, as he wrote “more details soon”.
Reacting to the news, the majority of Ghanaians questioned the authenticity of the news, as many swept it under the carpet with claims that it is “another cock and bull story”.
Speaking on the reports, Ghanaian media personality, Andy Dosty stated emphatically that there is no iota of truth in the speculations.
Speaking in a video that has since flown across social media platforms, Andy Dosty stated that after seeing the report, he quickly reached out to close associates and confidants of the musician to confirm.
After placing numerous calls, Andy Dosty has asked Ghanaians to treat the report as trash, stating that it is untrue.
Meanwhile, DL FM, a media house owned by Daddy Lumba has also stated that there is no truth in the speculation.
The media platform shared a post that said that Daddy Lumba is still alive and captioned it “Ghanafo) ne nsem keka. Kwadwo Fosu tease”, which translates to Ghanaians talk too much, Daddy Lumba is still alive.
