The brain behind “For The Records” show, Okatakyie Afrifa has reacted to reports that acting chief executive officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi has taken a legal action against controversial media personality, Afia Schwar.
Quoting Asiedu Nketia, Okatakyie Afrifa said that any fool at all can go to court so he is not surprised if Sammy Gyamfi has sued Afia Schwar 10 million Cedis for defamation of character.
“Sammy Kodo)? Who is that? Ah, Sammy Gyamfi? What has he done? Which of my sisters has he sued? Sammy Gyamfi has sued Afia Schwar for what? Sammy Gyamfi says someone has tarnished his reputation with claims that he buys cars for girls so he has run to the court? But Asiedu Nketia said that any fool can go to court. I am not the one saying it but Asiedu Nketia”, Okatakyie Afrifa said.
Okatakyie Afrifa went on to state that if anyone at all could take the other to court, it should not be Sammy Gyamfi who made wild allegations against numerous personalities before the last general elections.

Okatakyie stated that before the election, Sammy Gyamfi alleged that the former vice president, Dr. Bawumia is the owner of Hubtel, meanwhile, it was later discovered that there was no iota of truth in such claims.
Using this among others as examples, Okatakyie Afrifa said Sammy Gyamfi still walks as a “free bird” so he does not understand why he would resort to lawsuit when he was given a taste of his own medicine.
“Does Sammy Gyamfi have a conscience? Sammy, so are you able to sleep when you go to bed?” Okatakyie Afrifa questioned, adding that “You know very well that during your days of being a communications officer, even before the elevation, you said many false things about top NPP personalities but nobody took legal action against you. Wasn’t Sammy Gyamfi the one that said that Hubtle belonged to Dr. Bawumia knowing very well that there was no iota of truth in that? Did Dr. Bawumia take you to court? You lied against numerous personalities but none of them sued you”.
