Another pandemic is set to hit Ghana anytime soon after COVID-19 which claimed numerous lives.
Self-acclaimed Ghanaian surgeon, Archipalago has hinted at a new release that would be a tribute song for ace Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba.
Following the death of Daddy Lumba, Archipalago posted a video of himself mourning the “GOAT”.
In the video, the upcoming musician expressed sadness over the sudden demise of the late musician, stating that he was badly affected by the “Theresah” hitmaker.
Archipalago noted that as an upcoming musician, Daddy Lumba was someone he looked up to, so, his death would affect his music journey.
To pay his last respect to Daddy Lumba, Archipalago hinted at a new tribute song anytime soon.
However, Ghanaians have said that they are not ready for another year of disturbing songs from the upcoming musician, stating that none of the songs the musician has released so far make sense.
“Have mercy on us bro, please”, a netizen identified as Accra Mayor took to the comment section of Archipalago’s post to cry.
Chico Rico wrote, “Please you don’t have to stress yourself doing a tribute song. Have mercy on our ears, bro”.
In his retaliation, Archipalago fired back at Ghanaians as he claims he sees nothing wrong with releasing a song to pay his last respect to the veteran musician.
According to Archipalago, he is doing a tribute song for Daddy Lumba for two reasons, firstly, because Daddy Lumba, just like him, is from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, and secondly, the late musician was his idol.

He wrote “what’s wrong with doing a tribute song for my senior in the industry Daddy Lumba and at the same time we’re all from Oseikrom so what y’all problem”.
Archipalago went on to state that he is in a state of melancholy, so, he does not want to insult, disrespect, or use unprintable words on anyone.
“We are mourning so I don’t wanna reply to y’all bullshit for now!” he wrote.
