Ghanaian musician and “Wiase Y3 D3” hitmaker, Quamina MP has for the first time reacted to reports that Nigerian superstar, Davido has gifted Ghanaian music promoter, Ananzo 5k dollars.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye which Ghanacelebrities.com monitored, Quamina MP said that there is no iota of truth in speculations that musicians in Ghana are stingy.
Quamina MP says he does not understand why Ghanaians will label musicians as stingy all because Davido has gifted the music promoter 5k dollars for helping him promote his new music.

According to Quamina MP, just like Davido, Ghanaian musicians also extend benevolence to their fans, however, the difference is that while Davido made his public, Ghanaian musicians make their kind gestures private.
“Davido giving Ananzo Official $5,000 doesn’t mean Ghanaian artistes are stingy, as some people might want to make it look like. Maybe a Ghanaian musician can give him more than that amount, but he will never make it public,” he said.
Quamina MP stated emphatically that before and after Davido’s gift came into the public domain, Ghanaian musicians have been showering gifts on Ananzo, the reason why he never gave up on his music promotion journey.
“You never know how other Ghanaian artistes are supporting him behind the scenes with numerous gifts for promoting our music. Unless we make it public before you know, but I will never say that no Ghanaian musician has given him anything, or we are stingy as people claim,” he said.
Adding that “I know that Ananzo Official is being given something small, though it is not something that is in the public domain”.
Meanwhile, Davido has said that he has plans of making Ananzo travel to Nigeria so that if possible, the duo could have a good time.
The Nigerian superstar took to his official X, formerly known as Twitter page to state that he was on a world tour, promoting his Newly released song dubbed “With You”.
He noted that as a result of that, he is very busy, but will surely let Ananzo visit him in Nigeria after he is done.
